Unknown artist - UK psych folk rarity.

What can I say? An unreleased and unknown (by me) psych, beat folk album on the legendary john hassell recordings label.
An obscure album as there is no group name. The one sided test pressing dates from circa 1967. It seems that it owes some of its inspiration to the Beatles - sgt pepper as at least one or two of the songs are reminiscent of that. There are a couple of beat tracks, two psych tracks in the very UK style. Plus two acid folk type tracks.

I put the date at 1967 due to the cat number and the style of music within. It really is very good. Some cheeky UK ramblings within at the start of one of the tracks and experimental recording techniques that have been taken from the Beatles sgt pepper album.

All are original compositions as far as I can tell. 3 talented musicians here...but I can't find anything out about them. Please dig a little deeper yourselves to see if you can unearth some information.

Artists are: geoffrey long (vocal & organ), bob Goodwin (12 string & bass & vocals), douglas smith (6 string APML guitar, drums & vocals).

This is a really stunning unreleased record from a golden period of music. I would be very surprised if nothing came of the artists involved as a lot of work was obviously put into the creation of this album.

One sided. HAS 999

Vinyl is vg plus to ex. Very shiny, barely played. Some very minor storage wear. Plain sleeve. Plays great. If any questions....please ask. I am unable to offer sound clips...but I'm sure we can work something out.
