Description

PLEASE NOTE: I am based in the UK so shipping to USA is $12.00

Artist: KEITH NOBLE (with Rado Klose)

Title: MR. COMPROMISE

Format: private press LP

Label: ? (EDEN LP 14)

Year: 1970

Style: rock, psychedelic, folk

Info: Keith Noble was lead singer of pre-Pink Floyd incarnations The Screaming Abdabs, Sigma 6 and the T-Set. Bob Klose was Pink Floyd's original lead guitarist.

So what we have here is an extremely rare and undocumented demo UK LP by two former Floyd-related rockers! This is a genuine original album recorded in 1970 at Eden Studios, Kingston and Blackheath Road Sound, Greenwich. I've never come across this record before and nobody seems to know anything about it! As it is a private press i'm not sure what label it is on, other than the matrix info in the run-off grooves which is 'EDEN LP 14'.

Other players were Graham McKenney, Chris Reynolds, Dave Bell, Clive Goodenough, Tom James, and Sheilagh Noble. (With a name like Clive Goodenough it makes you think that maybe some of these names were pseudonyms for more famous musicians with contractual obligations?)

Record has blank white labels and comes in d.i.y. 'pasted-on' picture sleeve. Has plain white paper die-cut inner sleeve.

This is a real obscure album, and its possible only a very small amount were pressed up and passed to friends and associates, making it extremely collectable! I have a feeling this is a real rarity, so don't miss out!

Side 1 is nice psych rock/folk. The songs on side two are in the mellow sad poet-guy vein and are a little more "trippy"!

Ten tracks:-

-side 1:

MR COMPROMISE

NARCISSUS

SECRETARY JANE

RED-CURRENT TIDE

UP AND DOWN WAY (OF IT ALL)

ONLY WHEN I LAUGH

-side 2:

DANDELIONS HAVE THEIR DAY

WEATHER

KING OF THE ICEMEN

ASHES AND SILVER

Vinyl in excellent+ condition and has not been played a great deal.

Sleeve in excellent condition with just mild wear. The two pasted on cover sheets have started to peel at the edges in parts, but these could easily be glued back.

I grade the condition according to UK standards.

Will be posted in strong professional packaging to avoid damage in transit.

I do combined postage rates if you are thinking of buying more than one item.
