UNIQUE HAND SIGNED RONNIE WOOD BOOK THE WORKS ROLLING STONES LTD EDITION 200/200
You are looking at a very rare, in fact a one off unique piece of music memorabilia, with a very interesting past!
This is a copy of Ronnie Wood's paper back book 'The Works' which has been personally signed by Ronnie Wood and author Bill German.
There were originally only 200 books signed by Ronnie. This is the only copy to be signed by Bill German as well, and it is numbered number 200 of 200.
I purchased this book many years ago for my partner as a present, and it came from the USA. The seller was an associate of Bill German and this is how he came to own this very rare book.
The book comes with a very strange, and rather humorous provenance, which is very Rolling Stones! The original owner has included a handwritten account of how he came by the book, and his links to the author Bill German. This has been written on the back of an issue of Marijuana News! The original owner actually appears on the cover of this particular issue. He has also included a copy of a Rolling Stones fan magazine, which was also produced by Bill German, along with an envelope which cleary links the two men. All of these items are included in the sale.
The book itself is fantastic, and contains some great images of Ronnie's artwork, along with some interesting stories about his life and his art.
Please bear in mind that although the book is, in my opinion, in excellent condition, it is an old book and does have the odd tiny blemish. It has, however, been treasured during our ownership and has been stored very carefully indeed.
