Description
This original and very hard to find FIRST US pressing never had a picture sleeve. Superclean copy in perfect condition. The A-sider includes the punk classic “Teenage Kicks” which was born with fantastic lyrics. The flip includes the extremely powerful non-LP track “Smarter Than U” which will knock your head off. UK pressings were born in 1978. This original FIRST US pressing was only released in 1979, issued on “Sire” records (catalogue number SRE 49195). The great John Peel was known for spotting talent when he heard it...but even my Granny would have backed a true winner here...it`s infectious and can be listened to one hundred times and you still beg for more!!!! Your collection of Punk records will be that much richer for this addition.....Bid High, Bid well, Bid early, get lucky. Again, the vinyl is in perfect condition. Sooo rare.
