The Undertakers Unchain My Heart/ It's My Time Studio 7 U-101/102
Well known 2-sider. Unchain My Heart may be preferred by many or most, due to their familiarity with the Ray Charles hit version, which here morphs into a stinging West Texas Fuzz Tone attack. It's My Time however has all the elements; a very well written song, that has a sincere searching quality to it. The Undertakers take the song all the way because of their masterful arrangement. Harmonies and a true sense of dynamics.... something not always found in a Garage band - give this song a wonderful interplay. There are fine moments between the guitar and organ, and an overall sense of movement with shifting tempo changes heading towards something unknown. Do I really want to sell this? Of course not! But... The minimum bid may seem high, but another copy of this in lesser condition went for more. It's a keeper and I'll be glad to be the one to do so if it doesn't go.
Condition: M-. There is one tiny scuff on the "Suggested Side." The flip is flawless. Labels are of a rare glossy sort, and are beautiful and pristine.
