We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Scarce and sought after 1971 original first pressing BRITISH-Only HARVEST RECORDS first pressing vinyl in nice gatefold nude female gatefold cover...this was Michael Chapman's 4th album and the release just after his remarkable "Fully Qualified Survivor" ...filled with similar fantastic songs and extraordinary guitar playing, rewards repeated listens.

On this album Michael's full potential was reached. The mood of the album is quiet and reflective with beautifully mesmeric guitar backing in places. Once again the album was produced by Gus Dudgeon and Rick Kemp is among the contributors. The whole mood is shattered by the (almost surreal) final track apparently sung by the 'massed voices of the dean teagarden singers featuring the screaming skull, the bombay banger and arthur dogg'. Although Chapman's material occasionally appears introspective and even morose, the tracks are such superb examples of the best in their field that nothing, but nothing, should prevent you from listening good and hard to his music. Apart from swinging his way through acoustic guitar numbers, he has Mick Ronson on lead guitar, Rick Kemp on bass and Richie Dharma on drums to lend himself the necessary weight for stunning numbers. The tight solid sounds that these four guys get on the grittier stuff is nothing short of amazing. Mick Ronson uses his machinery like an expert veteran. At times they swing so well that one is reminded of the empathy that few groups apart from Cream have managed to get. It's incredibly difficult to convey the atmosphere that this guy manages to create in almost every one of his songs, his steady use of long, strong, strung-out melody lines delivered in an edgy laconic drawl is initially tedious but beautifully amusing once you get to the idea behind the form.

CONDITION: The cover: Rated: slightly grainy & fragile UK production gatefold is a collectible VG++ with only light previous use visible, nothing strong or alarming and that white grainy gatefold is pretty clean all over - tough to find so clean when talking near 50 years of age. The early UK progressive scene! Has No split seams, no writing, no alarming or troublesome issues, other than a tiny sticker pull at top right that is not so noticeable unless inspecting with nose to the cover (?) and even then....
The vinyl: Rated: Very clean over both sides near M- playing without flaws, and the -unboxed- UK Harvest labels are both clean as well
