IT IS AN AWESOME LP BY THE FAMOUS HOLLYWOOD ARGYLES FEATURING GARY PAXTON ON THE ORIGINAL LUTE RECORD LABEL NUMBERED L-101 ON THE FRONT COVER.
THE GROUP'S BIG HIT WAS "ALLEY OOP" WHICH IS ON THIS ALBUM.
THE ALBUM COVER IS IN OVERALL EXCELLENT CONDITION. TO BE CRITICAL, THERE IS A SMALL NAME PRINTED ON THE FRONT COVER WHICH BLENDS NICELY INTO THE BACKGROUND.(SEE PHOTOS). THE ONLY OTHER CRITIC WOULD BE THE BEGINNINGS OF OUTER EDGE WEAR IN THE FIRST FEW INCHES OF THE UPPER AND LOWER SEAMS WHERE THE RECORD IS INSERTED. YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE IT WHEN THE RECORD IS FLAT. OTHERWISE, THE COVER SHOWS VERY LITTLE AGE WEAR(SEE PHOTOS).
THE VINYL HAS SOME SCRATCHES, BUT THE MUSIC PLAYS NICELY THROUGH MOST OF THEM. YOU CAN OCCASIONALLY HEAR A LITTLE VERY LOW-GRADE CRACKLING, BUT DOES NOT EFFECT THE LISTENING PLEASURE OF THE AWESOME SONGS.
I HAVE SEEN ONLY A FEW COPIES OF THIS ISSUE IN MY LIFE. THERE IS NOW A COPY FROM JAPAN BEING OFFERED FOR OVER $800. SERIOUS COLLECTORS SHOULD LOOK CAREFULLY - YOU MAY NOT GET ANOTHER CHANCE ANY TIME SOON.
I AM ALWAYS HAPPY TO SHOW JUST HOW NICE THE CONDITION IS OF ALL MY RECORD ALBUMS AND VINYL. AS SUCH, I HAVE POSTED AS MANY PHOTOS AS I COULD THAT ARE INDICATIVE OF THE ALBUM COVERS, LABELS (WHEN LP IS OPENED), THE VINYL (WHEN LP IS OPENED), ETC. YOU CAN SEE THE EXCELLENT CONDITION OF THE ENTIRE PACKAGE AS IT EXISTS AND DESCRIBED ABOVE. I TOOK TWO PHOTOS OF THE COVER, ONE WITH THE FLASH AND ONE WITHOUT. I WANTED TO SHOW AS MUCH DETAIL AS I COULD. SO I POSTED BOTH PHOTOS.- SEE PHOTOS.
OH, THOSE LITTLE WHITE MARKS YOU MIGHT SEE ON THE SHINY VINYL ARE SIMPLY REFLECTIONS OF A CHANDELIER I HAVE HANGING OVER THE TABLE WHERE I TAKE PHOTOS. I ASSURE YOU THOSE REFLECTIONS ARE NOT ON THE ACTUAL VINYL.
