RARE ORIGINAL PRESSING, THICK FLAT, WHITE SUNKEN LABEL.

Jacques PARRENIN, 1st violin.
Founded in 1944, one of the greatest french quartets (all its members beeing pupils of Joseph CALVET) and a pionneer of modern music.


SLEEVE CONDITION: VG+ (still glossy despite superficial blemishing of age, nice and clean, only minor wear at corners and rare very tiny defects)


RECORD CONDITION : VG to VG+ (glossy but somewhat trembling surface, very slightly, as happens on old monos: often the sign that the wax is sounding a bit on background, which is the case here, more noticeable on B-side, but mostly not disturbing the excellent dynamic sound ; only the pre-music groove is obviously sounding, then promptly vanishing and noticeable only by places ; few light clicks/very light cracks on beginnings, overwise rare single ticks possible) /// GRADED IN STEREO, would play better with mono equipment.
