ORIGINAL FLAT LP, SILVER ON ORANGE LABEL
A PURE GEM OF PIANO PLAYING, AND HIGHLY SOUGH AFTER RECORD (ONE OF THE ONLY 4 LPs OF THE PIANIST)
SLEEVE CONDITION: EX (NO SPLIT, only minor local wear on spines, very fresh front with light local handling marks at corners but no ring wear, and few cosmetic rubbing traces on the portrait ; the back has only few light coloured traces in the middle, local surface blemishing damp spots, only visible in level light ; rare condition for this fragile pastel cover with lithograph-like picture !)
RECORD CONDITION : VG+ (surface is mostly glossy despite some rare light surface scuffs or traces, local "inside wax" blemishing places which are often seen on old flat mono Deccas ; no accident or scratch, 2 soft bubbles not disturbing and 1 tiny bubble sounding only 3 light thuds / stereo playgrading : A-side has mostly silent surface with light crackling by places, mostly on begining and in last part, B-side has some light crackling alongside less or more perceptible BUT NOTHING DISTURBING THE POWERFUL SOUND ; BARELY PLAYED LP with very few spindle marks near center hole ; this record should give a splendid rendition with mono equipment, as the gentle crackling above comes only from wax quality or surface scuffs).
