Description
THIS IS A SUPERB FIRST PRESSING OF THE ULTRA-RARE ORIGINAL ISSUE OF WIZZ JONES 1969 MONO LP “WIZZ JONES” ON THE UK UNITED ARTISTS LABEL AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN ANY CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN BETTER THAN EXCELLENT CONDITION! THE COVER IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION FOR ITS AGE!! DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number is ULT 1209 on the UK UNITED ARTISTS label (see picture) and is a MONO UK first pressing. Matrix numbers are A1/B1.
The record labels are in EXCELLENT condition (see picture) with NO wear and NO writing, but they both have a LARGE NUMBER of LIGHT spindle marks (see pictures). I BOUGHT THIS RECORD SECOND-HAND FROM A FRIEND SO I KNOW THAT IT HAS ONLY BEEN PLAYED ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches. There are some SUPERFICIAL LIGHT scuff marks possibly caused by being in a polythene inner sleeve and ONLY LIGHT signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS MUCH OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO groovewear, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The cover is in OUTSTANDING condition for its age and type (see picture)! It has NO wear to the spine. There is NO wear to the top and bottom edges. There is MODERATE wear to the open edge.
The front of the cover has some VERY LIGHT ringwear. It has some LIGHT wear and diagonal creasing to the corners (see picture). There is a 10cm vertical crease 2cm to the left of the right hand open edge. There are two 1.5cm vertical thumb creases 5cm to the left of the right hand open edge. The front of the cover shows only the LIGHTEST signs of scuffing so retains MUCH of its original just-pressed look.
The back of the cover has moderate signs of wear, age and discolouration but there is SUBSTANTIAL wear to the top right corner (see picture).
THIS VINYL LP IS MASSIVELY RARE TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION. DONT MISS OUT!
For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover.
