Description
It is extremely rare to see this item up for auction. It's your chance to bid on this much sought-after promotional item.
Produced to coincide with the release of U2's massive Achtung Baby album, this presentation box contains a model Trabant car together with an actual piece of the Berlin Wall. It is a genuine item produced by the record company and carries the Achtung Baby logo on the back. It also carries a certificate of authenticity and a statement about the 'Trabbi' being a symbol of freedom.
This superb item only comes up for sale very rarely. Reportedly, there were very few of them made and when I enquired with a renowned U2 collector as to a value, they could not give me an accurate estimate due to the scarcity of the item. Whilst I don't like to put a reserve on items, I simply cannot let this go cheaply.
(Apologies for the poor quality pictures!)
Finally, I would just stress that I am advertising this elsewhere so reserve the right to end the auction early.
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BIDS !
