COLLECTOR'S PIECE HAND-SIGNED ORIGINAL
Authentic signed 8.00” x 12.00” signature cut display (crafted onto solid matting), personally autographed by the late Nirvana rock legend KURT COBAIN (February 20, 1967 – April 5, 1994). Just right for framing, the auction winner will receive the exact item shown here. Please keep in mind, most items look better in person than any Ebay scan can really show. The overall item is in superb condition.
Formed in 1985, Nirvana found breakthrough success with Smells Like Teen Spirit from its second album Nevermind. Following the success of Nevermind, Nirvana was labelled "the flagship band" of Generation X, and Kurt Cobain hailed as "the spokesman of a generation". On April 8, 1994, Cobain was found dead at his home in Seattle, the victim of what was officially ruled a suicide by a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head. The circumstances of his death at age 27 have become a topic of public fascination and debate. Since their debut, Nirvana, with Cobain as a songwriter, has sold over 25 million albums in the US, and over 75 million worldwide. Together with Nirvana band mates Novoselic and Dave Grohl, Kurt Cobain was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, which was the first year in which the band was eligible.
