 KALEIDOSCOPE - Faintly Blowing (Fontana STL 5491, UK 1969)

Here we have a mega rare original copy (with machine stamped matrix numbers) on the "black / silver Fontana" label of the 2nd album from this London based psych rock group. A masterpiece in it´s own field of the late 60ies UK psych rock scene - including excellent acoustic / electric instrumentation, catchy melodies, the fantastic "choldlike" vocals, effects, more prog infected as their eponymous 1st album......

Matrix numbers (machine stamped): 886496 1y//1 ^ 420  /  886496 2y//1 ^ 420

The front / back laminated cover (inner cover is NOT laminated) is in very good (vg) condition, showing a small taped part on the top seam, taped (with a clear tape on one side of the gatefold cover, wear on bottom seam, a small - but longer tear on both sides of the inner sleeve (see scan) and a cutout hole on the bottom left side - spine is fully intact - the front cover is in top condition, the backcover has one repaired break

The record is in very good minus to very good (vg-/vg) condition, shows "a million" paperscuffs / hairlines and a few surface marks, has also the 2 watermarks on the beginning of each side - but has NO deep scratches. So it plays astonishing fine -would say between vg and vg+, with several soft to mediocre surface cracklings, here and there a few soft pops - but NOT in a loud or disturbing way
