Description

Rare copy of Klemperer and the Philarmonia Orchestra with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf performing Mahler Symphony N°2 on original Columbia B/S SAX 2473/2474 double set.

The sleeves are a very strong VG+++ to EX; Side 1 has stains caused by the original Columbia inner sleeve which at some quieter moment -specially at the end of the side- produces a kind of background whispering... Side 2 is close to NM; Side 3 is a softer version of side 1, but has no effect on sound quality. Side 4 is again close to NM... Altogether a beautiful piece
