Description
The Beatles VI lp manufactured in the UK by parlaphone records in 1965 for export to countries (in this case Bahrain) with no capacity of their own. You know its rarity so no bullshit here.
EX VINYL totally bright and clean with only feint inner bag removal lines visible under naked light.
EX COVER laminated flipback printed in the UK by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd. See below for more detail.
LABELS both perfect. CPCS 104 on yellow and black parlaphone label with 'THE GRAMAPHONE CO LTD.' text.
INNER i have a nice original EMI inner to go with the lp but it is shown with its plain poly liner on the photos.
Side A
YEEX.112-A15 in runout also 1 and 0 stampings horizontal to label left and right of spindle.
Side B - has the KT tax stamp either side of spindle.
YEEX.113-A15 in runout and also 1 and II stampings. The matrix number STP2451 is scratched out by two lines.
NOTES: This disc has a small retailers stamp (just visible in photo 2) in the botton right corner of the back cover 'capital store bahrain'. It also has the remnants of a distributors sticker (visible top centre on back photo 2)from nightingale lane in london, i could have easily removed this but it adds to its history. This is not a tear but a removable sticker. Comfortably EX the cover has only very minor laminate creasing, an in tact spine and overall as clean as ever will turn up. I bought this disc for my wife 'michelle' from a life long Beatles fan called Barry Wilson who founded then (for years) ran the rare record department at Londons record and Tape exchange. I was happy to give £350 years ago and have not seen a better copy since.
Check my feedback - I grade accurately and fairly - I have other rare records for sale
