Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Butterfly is The Hollies at their most adventurous and their most playful.Dear Eloise" appeared as a single almost everywhere except the UK. This is another Hollies classic, a boisterous slice of perfect pop topped and tailed with sublime medieval passages featuring just Nash’s vocal and a harmonium accompaniment. Nash’s presence dominates the album while, conversely, featuring some of his flimsiest compositions to date. "Away Away Away", "Wishyouawish" and "Postcard" are pleasant odes to throwing pebbles in the sea and ‘skipping down the highway’ but pale alongside earlier cuts like "Clown" and "Crusader". Nash’s material reportedly caused friction with other band members during the sessions resulting in Bobby Elliott accusing the bearded one of being more interested in the application of sonic effects than the quality of his songs. The fact that Nash insisted on overdubbing all the vocal parts on his own compositions must also have antagonized Clarke and Hicks. Still, he pulls a couple of master strokes. "Maker" is a lush, dreamy hymn, enveloped in swirling sitar, while the title track features Nash’s hushed vocal, phased and fading in and out of distortion, accompanied only by a haunting Mike Vickers string score. Shades of "Eleanor Rigby" perhaps? Along with "Maker", there are two other attempts at full-blown psychedelia in "Try It" and "Elevated Observations?" which swim in a sea of backward cymbals, tape loops and primeval moog noodling. Tony Hicks takes his first ever lead vocal on his own composition "Pegasus The Flying Horse" while Allan Clarke’s contributions drag the traditional Hollies sound through the sonic grinders of Abbey Road to be reborn as the grandiose "Would You Believe" and the perfect "Step Inside", three minutes of the purest Hollie-pop you’ll find in their entire back catalogue.
Released in the same year as Evolution and is slightly better with a bit more psych/baroque elements than the previous album. They are still putting it though a folk filter though. Definitely a very good album with tons of nice melodies ...So here's the HOLLIES at their stellar psychedelic, their version of the lost "psych" classic. So what do we have here? Fantasy lyrics about magic horses and faraway lands? Yup, it's all present and correct. The record that no one understood at the time, that the teeny bopping provincial girls didn't get because, let's face it, LSD was only available to a small coterie in St. John's Wood, and when they all sang about getting high, most fans thought they meant ON LIFE and not much else.

CONDITION: The cover: fragile UK production with the old style "back-flap" seams and richly laminated ...rated "EX" (excellent) having bright original colors and only light visual prior use...still a collectible look and a nice addition to ones collection. No seam splits, no delete marks, no writing...
The vinyl: is all clean and glossy "EX" (excellent) clean, has a minor meaningless scuff visible on side 2 that is not audible, and ultimately plays CLEAN, NO distracting surface problems ...both UK Parlophone labels are clean
