WOW WHAT A FIND !!! This is a RARE ORIGINAL PYE RECORDS DEMO ACETATE - SURF MUSIC by THE RIVIERAS from 1964. A single SIDED DEMO ACETATE SINGLE, PYE RECORDS ACETATE PRESSING - SURF - DEMO ACETATE , ORIGINAL UK DEMO ACETATE PRESSING IN GREAT CONDITION !!!
This is an ACETATE for THE RIVIERAS classic SURF single from 1964 on PYE INTERNATIONAL RECORDS !!! I am not sure if this is the same version as the released version or an earlier DEMO version !!! It is worth mentioning that this track was of course covered by THE RAMONES amongst many others, it was comped on the: THE GOLDEN AGE OF AMERICAN ROCK ’N’ ROLL 2 and THE RAMONES HEARD THEM HERE FIRST compilations !!!
DON’T LET THIS PIECE OF SURF HISTORY GET AWAY as it is probably the ONLY TIME you will be able to buy this DEMO ACETATE !!!
ALL THE ACETATES I AM SELLING CAME FROM THE UK’s BIGGEST MUSIC PUBLISHING LIBRARY AND ARE ALL 100% GUARANTEED ORIGINALS !!!
The tracks are: CALIFORNIA SUN / side B is blank.
The ACETATE was pressed by PYE RECORDS .
The condition of the ACETATE is in VG+/VG++ condition on side A, but the blank B side has flaking on it which have nothing to do with the music but worth mentioning (Better condition then most ACETATES of this age, plays great with only mild crackle as ACETATES tend to have, flakes on blank B side as mentioned ) !!!
AFTER A FEW PROBLEMS ALL ITEMS OVER £20.00 WILL HAVE TO BE SENT REGISTERED / INSURED AT AN EXTRA COST OF £1.50 (UK), £5.20 (REST OF THE WORLD) NO EXCEPTIONS !!!
