Description

Capitol Records five disc boxed set, PER 8394, original mono recordings.  Promotional copy.  Each of the five discs has an EMI "Factory Sample, Not For Sale" sticker on the disc label.  Early green and gold label discs pressed in England by EMI.

Beethoven, The Late Quartets, as played at the 1957 Ediburgh International Festival by the Hollywood String Quartet.  Includes the quartets op. 127, 130, 131, 132, and 135, plus the Grosse Fuge, op. 133.  See pics for program details.
