Description
- Thirsty Ear Communications UK 1, this is an original U.S. promo only pressing of the 1st episode of the John Peel radio show "UK Buzz". This show aired in the US in the mid 80's, and gave much needed radio exposure to many UK bands that had not yet found commercial success within the US. This 1st episode features narrative from Peel, plus tracks from Depeche Mode, Tones On Tail, Colourbox, Red Guitars, New Order, Cocteau Twins, Sandie Shaw ("Hand In Glove", featuring The Smiths), Eternal Triangle, Robert Gorl, and Fad Gadget. LP comes in generic white 12" jacket, which is in excellent condition. LP itself is NM-, showing a few minor paper marks. Playback is solid throughout, while labels are crisp with no spindle wear. 4 page info packet about the show is also included in excellent condition.
