This auction is for the following rare LP:
MEGA RARE ORIGINAL UK (MONO ONLY) FIRST PRESSING of HMV ALP 1282 from 1955 with ORIGINAL RED AND GOLD LABEL DESIGN.
THE LEGENDARY GIOCONDA DE VITO (VIOLIN) AND EDWIN FISCHER (PIANOFORTE) PLAY BRAHMS.
RECORDED IN MAY AND OCTOBER 1954.
SONATA NO.1 IN G MAJOR, OP.78 (RECORDED IN MAY 1954 AT ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS).
SONATA NO.3 IN D MINOR, OP.108 (RECORDED IN OCTOBER 1954 AT ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS).

THE RECORD - EXCELLENT CONDITION - A STUNNING AND CLEAN EXAMPLE OF THIS EXTREMELY RARE LP. PLAYS SUPERBLY THROUGHOUT.
LABELS - EXCELLENT CONDITION.
INNER SLEEVE - THE INNER SLEEVE WITH THIS LP IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION.
COVER - VERY GOOD CONDITION. A VERY PRESENTABLE ITEM, JUST SHOWING MINOR SIGNS OF AGE AND HAS A NAME WRITTEN NEATLY (AND SMALL) IN RED BIRO ON REVERSE. DOES NOT DETRACT FROM AN OTHERWISE SUPER UNLAMINATED ORIGINAL 50s COVER THAT IS COMPLETE AND FULLY INTACT. A SHAME ALL VINTAGE LPs DON'T TURN UP LIKE THIS TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH!
I think my minimum bid is fair in comparison to other copies I have seen advertised in the last few years (not that there have been many). I have never seen one on this auction site.
