Description

Auction is for a RARE ORIGINAL CANADIAN MONO PRESSING of THE UGLY DUCKLINGS' "SOMEWHERE OUTSIDE" LP from 1966 on Yorktown Records (Cat. #YT 50001). Top-of-the-heap Canadian Punk Garage with touches of Psychedelia featuring arguably the best Canadian cut in that style, namely "Nothin". This album is so much more though, delivering on every level with not a weak cut.... truly essential! This is the vintage second press on multi-coloured labels that followed the true first press on black/white labels from a few months earlier and is just as tough to find. Covers top and bottom seams have been taped (see photo) although the only damage was a 3" split at center of bottom, maybe preventative measures? Cover also has 1/2" tear at top left corner on front and some black pen beside track listing on back cover. Vinyl has a couple very light superficial scuffs that don't affect play, just shy of NM. Absolutely beautiful copy!

Condition of the Cover/Vinyl is VG+ / EX.
