Description
Vinyl is in excellent condition with a clean playing surface, strong gloss and only light signs of prior use visible under light, maintaining very good audio performance throughout. Labels are clear and well preserved with minimal spindle wear. Housed in its original UB40 unemployment benefit style picture sleeve, also in excellent condition, with sharp print, solid structure and only light handling wear. This is a UK pressing on Graduate Records, catalogue number GRADLP 2, with matrix runouts A2 and B2 confirming an early pressing variant. Released in 1980 during the peak of the UK 2 Tone and reggae crossover movement, Signing Off is UB40’s debut album and a defining record of the era, blending political commentary with roots reggae rhythms. Includes standout tracks such as Food For Thought and King. A highly collectible early UB40 pressing and an essential piece of British reggae history.
