Description
You are bidding on a set of 'live' U2 recordings from the Unforgettable Fire Tour. I saw them perform in Hartford, CT on that tour and couldn't resist buying any and all live recordings from various record shops. The bundle contains 6 LP's spanning 3 U2 shows. I am the original owner of these albums, as described below:
Best of the Biscuit - This was a radio show broadcast in 1984, and the actual concert was at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston in May of 1983. I played these records pretty extensively early on but then recorded them on cassette and stored them in plastic. They haven't been played in at least 25 years. The jacket has ring wear and sticker marks on the top right front corner. The music is on sides A, B and C, with side D blank. I'd say both the jacket and albums are VG.
Thank U Too For the Fire - This specific show was in Milano on 2/4/85. The jacket shows some ring wear and a bit of smudging. This record has a gatefold cover with lyrics in the center (see photo). I only played these records a few times, so they are in better condition than the 'Biscuit'. I'll rank this one as VG for the jacket, more like NM for the center section with the lyrics, and VG+ on the records.
Brixton Academy, Volumes 1&2 - The show was in London on 3/11/84. Volumes 1 & 2 are separate albums/jackets, one yellow and the other blue (vinyl is black). The sleeves show ring wear and Volume One has a seam split at the top. These records have only been played a few times at most. The jackets are a solid VG and the records are VG+.
