U2    "Under A Blood Red Sky"

This is a US vinyl pressing on Island 90127-1-B from 1983.     They called this a "Mini LP".     It was issued after "War" and before "The Unforgettable Fire".     The record has white labels with "Mini LP' logo.       The cover has a bar code on the back cover at bottom right.      The music was recorded live.         This is the second version that does not have Bono singing part of "A-Me-Ri-Ca" during the song "The Electric Co.".        There is a "Special Price" sticker and the original price sticker on the front of the shrink wrap.    

This album was produced by Jimmy Iovine.      The live photographs are by Jacobus Van Hespen.         The cover design is by RX.

The matrix numbers are hand etched : Side One : STIL  835343-F Q   B-18737-F  SLM  (triangle) 5618 1-3  Precision  and Side Two : STIL  835344-F Q  B-18738-F  SLM  (triangle) 5618-X  Precision 1-3.  

The songs are : Gloria, 11 O'Clock Tick Tock, I Will Follow, Party Girl, Sunday Bloody Sunday, The Electric Co., New Years Day, and "40".      

Overall Condition is : Cover is M /  Record is M-

The cover is mint, with no ring wear, no writing, and no seam splits.        There is a tiny tear in the shrink wrap on the front at middle top.        The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint.        The labels are clean with no spindle marks.       The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
