Description
U2 - "Three" 12-Inch Vinyl EP.
Original 1979 UK/Ireland-issue 3-track 12-Inch on CBS Records.
This is the rare second press of U2's debut 12-Inch release, from all the way back in 1979.
Whilst not as unobtainable as the original numbered copies, this is literally the next best thing.
A guaranteed genuine bona-fide original copy (I've owned it myself since new).
One of the few records which has a website dedicated to just this 12-Inch format of it !! - (http://www.u2-3.com/about/)
Here are all the gory physical details :-
* Original "sunburst" die-cut CBS " 12" single " card sleeve, with CBS box logo and copyright warning on the back. No sticker on the front.
* "Record manufactured in Irelnad" misprint on the label.
* "Made In England" printed at the bottom (6 o'clock) of the label rim.
* "Stereo" printed in lowercase (with a capital "S") on the labels.
* "SIDE A" and "SIDE B" printed all in uppercase on the labels.
* Band Members names etched into the runouts on both sides of the record.
* "Stickman" figure etched into the runouts on Side A.
The band has come a long way since, but this still sounds unmistakably "signature" early U2.....
Stunning, unmarked vinyl, Very Nice original sleeve with just a touch of ringwear rubbing in places.

Vinyl - EX Plus
- All pretty much clean and unmarked. Virtually no sign of any play or handling.
- "BONO", "ADAM", "THE EDGE", "LARRY" and "BANG" etched in the runouts on both sides.
Sleeve - VG Plus
- Original yellow/red/violet "sunburst" CBS die-cut card sleeve.
- No sticker marks or writing, No splits, No creasing
- Just the very lightest of rubbing to the bottom edge and bottom corners.
- Some noticeable ringwear rubbing to the centre of the left side (front and back).
- A little light ringwear rubbing near the centre of the other edges (front only).
- Just the lightest of general handling/storage marks.
- Nice example overall - above average for it's age.
Labels - EX Plus
- Clean and unmarked. No wear, writing or sticker marks. No spindle marks, No fading.

Extra LP's/12-inch (4th, 5th, 6th and so on, in the same package) at 0.80 GBP each.
(Note - Double LP's (and items with unusually heavy packaging!) count as two additional - Triples as three additional, and so on). Royal Mail "First Class Recorded" service is used. If you require a different service, please request it before paying for your item(s), so the cost can be adjusted accordingly.

Europe = 10.15 GBP
USA/Canada = 12.95 GBP
Asia (incl. Japan), Australia/NZ = 12.95 GBP.

Where the total weight of your shipment is 2 KG or more, (normally the max. for this weight is 6 LP/12-inch)
- it will need to be split into 2 separate shipments - or shipped via courier - as the UK Royal Mail does not currently offer a reasonably-priced Shipping Service for such parcels. These shipments will be charged/quoted "at cost" when required.

Despatch and Packing :-
All items are normally posted within 48 hours of receiving payment.
Where payment is by Cheque (or Paypal's eCheque), items will not be despatched until the cheque has cleared.
Purpose-designed mailing/packaging materials will be used.
Your record(s) will be well protected against the rigours of normal handling/shipping, including getting wet in the rain!
All records are packed outside of their main packaging (in a new plain inner where necessary), to avoid sleeve splits in transit.
Gradings :-
I use the UK "Record Collector Magazine" grading system for vinyl.

At the risk of drawing attention to a similar item, It's been pointed out to me there is another copy being offered (the seller has cheekily copied all the details from here!!!!!!) which ends shortly before this one.
To clarify to those that aren't sure :- The other one is NOT an original first or second pressing (and, in fairness, they don't say that it is)....
(If you read carefully and find the small changes they have made in their version of my listing - and check the U2-3.com or other specialist U2 sites/forums - you will see it appears to be one of the later pressings).
