Description
Most people remember where they were when they first heard U2's 'The Joshua Tree' being played over the radio in the Winter of 1987. Few albums can become instant "classics" after only one listen but this was the case with this record. Brilliant songs from start to finish, beautifully recorded and produced by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno.....has it been 28 years already?? This first UK pressing (U26) brings out all the eerie beauty in these songs like no other version....the bass lines are detailed and full....the drums have an almost three dimensional quality. Not even the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab CD can match the superior sonics of this pressing.....Incredible 1st press audio!
Condition of Gatefold Jacket: Near Mint(-)....very little to fault here....wonderful matt black surface....showing only faint wear to edges and corners....spine is near perfect with a couple of inoffensive creases....no rips, tears, or unsightly blemishes anywhere. A beautiful example.

Condition of Record: Near Mint(-) ....In fact, if not for a few seconds of surface noise at the VERY START ONLY of Side 1 & 2, I would grade this record MINT....it's that clean! Most sellers would have just graded this as Mint- and left it at that. I prefer to be more honest and upfront about my findings out of respect for my customers.
