U2 - Three 1979 release - Ultra Rare Debut 7" Vinyl Single EP - Released in Ireland ONLY!

The absolute 'go to' single for any serious U2 collector.

Always conservative with gradings - this record is in great shape especially given its age.

Only the second copy of this I have seen in over 7 years of collecting....a great record and becoming very difficult to find.

This was bought as its condition was (And still is) better than the Very Good described.

Currently thinning out my ever-increasing collection - I have two copies of most U2 pieces but a very reluctant sale none-the-less.

Please note these records were produced / issued in very limited numbers to select record companies / shops and promoters in 1979 whilst the band were still waiting for the right record deal.

This makes the piece extra rare as it was produced on the CBS (Ireland) label identified accordingly by the UKTM information seen on the label and not Island Records who U2 were eventually signed to.

The VERY FIRST U2 SINGLE EVER and only available in Ireland! - an absolute gem and piece of music history.

Please see the photos for general condition of sleeve and disc - I have played this today prior to listing and would advise of any problems with the audio if present. There are minor crackles and pops at the beginning of each side - nothing more and very common. The raw sound is great and any minor initial 'noise' part of its history. Record has surface marks but plays through absolutely fine. Do note the original / previous owners initials written on the labels only. Very small and easily forgotten when played ....

A great collectible for any U2 fan or general buyer of great and collectible vinyl - when it's gone it's gone!

It's start price is set at 50% less than that paid around 5 years ago and much less than usually listed when they do come available.
