Description

U2

"BOY"

UNUSUAL RARE IRISH ISSUE ON ORIGINAL IRISH ONLY CBS LABELS & CAT. NO. - ISSUED IN A 'CBS STICKERED' PS !

THIS I UNDERSTAND WAS UNIQUE IN THAT THEY ORIGINALLY RAN OUT OF THE CBS PICTURE SLEEVES AND RESORTED TO ISSUING THE REMAINING IRISH PRESSED LP'S IN UK SOURCED 'ISLAND' SLEEVES AND PLACING 'CBS' STICKERS TO HIDE THE ISLAND REFERENCES.

I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT THE NUMBERS INVOLVED HERE WERE QUITE SMALL AS THEY SOON RESORTED TO ISSUING THE LP ON THE STANDARD UK / ISLAND LABEL.

LP IS VG+

LABELS HAVE SOME 'FOXING' TO THEM - See Scans

PS IS VG+

POSTAGE IS $12 WORLDWIDE - PLEASE NOTE THIS IF YOU ARE BIDDING FROM THE US ! AND PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE BEFORE MAKING ANY PAYMENT !!!
