U2 BOY IRELAND CBS LP in UK ISLAND SLEEVE Irish Press Hidden Track

U2, Boy.

Ireland pressed CBS Records stereo LP housed in UK Island inner and outer sleeves. Disc catalogued as S CBS 84658, inner and outer sleeves as ILPS 9646.

Early issue which features the uncredited 30 second track at the end of side two.

Vinyl visually at least EX plus, glossy with no obvious marks or scratches. There are some very minor pressing imperfections which do not affect playback at all.

An absolute fraction of barely audible crackle to A1 and B1 run-ins else playback is near mint throughout.

Labels are clean and unmarked with barely any spindle activity noticeable.

Picture/lyric inner near EX, no splits, slight disc impression.

External sleeve a strong VG. Structurally in great shape with unworn edges and crisp entry side. Spine in great shape. Slight rubbing darkening to lighter parts of main panels however, mainly confined to corner areas. There could also be just a trace of tan spotting, hard to discern between the two. There is a small odd mark to the rear panel, next to the photo of The Edge. It looks almost like a small marker pen circle enclosing a smaller mark, but could also just be a pressing imperfection, hard to tell.
