  Another CLASSIC LP SET FROM-VERTIGO WAX!

This has been kept in a case with the vinyl seperated from the cover to prevent ringware for the past 7 years or more! This is very very sought after original press! Very Very rarely seen with #1 and #1! 

This being absolutely awesome top audio throughout crystal clear and very vibrant throughout can not be surpassed in any other format in our  opinion! 

(normally seen played to death with nasty distortion clicks and pops)

(no) loud clicks or pops and certainly (no) skips or jumps ! This is very very collectable indeed!

The original UK release was as a gatefold sleeve, with a DOUBLE VINYL SET AND INNER VINYL PICTURE BAG SLEEVES.

INCREDIBLE EARLIEST FIRST PRESS!

The labels.

The original labels - hardly any spindle ware

(The hole is NEAR perfectly round)

 This has been played MINIMALLY (ONCE!)but certainly not overplayed at all !!!!!

The vinyl.

Original heavy thicker and deeper grooved type of vinyl only seen on these very early pressings!!!!!!!

Very soon were changed to flimsier and less robust type of vinyls!!!!!!

The vinyl is absolutely superb on initial visual inspection this looks superb and still retains its sheen from new!!!!!!

The Audio Quality

This vinyl as played and listened to very carefully track for track at least ONE time prior to listing and as played at very loud volume! 

We have tried to accurately give an honest acount on the audio quality as heard! The first thing that hits you when the needle is put on the vinyl is the absolute clarity and vibrancy real raunchy deep bassy feel on this pressing, Truly stunning audio! Important to note that there are no loud clicks or pops at all! 

 (Please note this vinyl has (not) been over played !!!!

(This audio sounds truly awesome throughout) 

 There no signs of grooveware or distortion during the audio play of this vinyl!!!!  Have played this through track for track and the audio quality is superb-

crystal clear & extremely vibrant!!!!

(In strong light only, any marks that could possibly be seen would be light wispy sleeve removal and we mean the lightest of marks (no) audio sounding marks or needle scratches that would produce any loud clicks or pops. The audio on this pressing in our opinion is almost as good as it gets for the most part for a very 1st pressing!!!!!)

Even in between tracks and quiet places there is extremely minimal noise, no surface noise !!

Please note!

 It is easy to be critical about these 00s pressings! Please allow for very light static crackle\tick during quiet places!

This is one of the best audio that we have heard of this pressing!!!!!

We would class ourseleves as highly critical and this is a truly exceptional sounding vinyl and the 1st pressing by this awesome IRISH BAND ''U2"!!

Audio is graded as excellent plus/n mint very near perfect for the most part on our system!!!!!

Please note! That we always make this disclaimer!

 That although we never heard any clicks or pops during the play of this record please allow for the odd light static tick\crackle here and there certainly not consistent throughout the audio, This has been played and  this is a genuine 7 year old vinyl that would have been played on a 7 year old system!!!!

Important note!

 This has been stored in a case laying dormant for at least 7 years, a build up of dirt and dust in the grooves causes static \crackle\ticks!

A constant clean before each play is recomended!

-IT HAS ALREADY BEEN CLEANED PROFESSIONALY WITH OUR CLEARAUDIO LORICRAFT SYSTEM-

This will reduce any static and will enhance the audio quality! 

The cover.

This is the original gatefold (non) laminated GATEFOLD (card type) 1st press cover with SONGLISTING on the back of the cover.This ORIGINAL FRONT OF COVER is superb with no splits or tears! Lovely square corners -UNBELIEVABLE CONDITION!!!!! 

 The spine is lovely and square and the writing is fully legible rarely ever seen like this!!!!

Has a tiny few creases due to storage.

This is the original set of inner picture sleeves in near mint minus condition.

Please note the vinyl is now stored seperately from the sleeve!! This is how we have always stored our records!!!!!!!

Vinyl - Plays `Superb` even on the quiet tracks - Looks unmarked in normal light - Even under bright halogen light scrutiny its hard to see any marks, We can just make out 1 or 2 of the lightest of paper scuffs, a real TOP COPY!! -

Labels - UNDAMAGED and CLEAN, with some spindle marks on each side - this LP has had MINIMAL play AND definitely not been overplayed!! A really nice copy!!

Sleeve - Original  FACTORY matt finish gatefold in very EXCELLENT condition, TOP SPINE, Sharp Opening as new,  this is a very nice copy of a sleeve that is very susceptible to wear & tear - NO writing/sticky label damage etc - has the songlist on the back!!

Rarity - YES! UK l pressings of this lp set are very desirable! especially to U2 Collectors and Rock Fans alike! This also being a TOP copy makes it more so!!
