Labels: Very clean & almost Mint- w/ just a whisper of wear
Record: Retains some decent gloss but has been played a lot as evidenced by lots of light surface scuffs. Side A also has 2 light sgiuggly line scratches at the beginning of the side. Side B has a tiny light scratch and some surface marks near the end of the side. Side A plays VG++ w/ some light random background surface noise and some light whooshes at the very end/fade of the side, possibly due to a very tiny pressing bubble. Side B plays VG+ w/ light background surface noise. Both sides still have great sound presence. / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Original copy of this super rare and killer Northern Soul classic on the legendary Romark label. This record came from a recent small score of vintage 45's by a friend in San Francisco. Superb vocals from Ty Karim who also recorded under the name Towana & The Total Destruction. Side A was written & produced by her husband Kent Harris and is an incredible midtempo track. The B Side is a nice ballad version. Both sides were arranged by guitarist Cal Green.
