Description

Two extremely rare record albums -THE FIVE KEYS was one of the originators of the R&B genre and brought this style of music to popularity in the 1950's. GREAT PRICE FOR TWO SUCH RARE ORIGINAL ISSUE LP's!

The Five Keys On Stage (1957)  – (Capitol-T828) EVEN MORE RARE BECAUSE:Record label reads: Sample Album for Radio-TV program use. Sticker on front of album reads: For Promotional Use Only –Not For Sale. Radio station  stamped on back cover-KHAS (Hastings, Nebraska). NOTE: This album cover was banned:  Rudy West (far left) had his right thumb just barely visible on the record jacket for this release. Of course everyone got really excited about it, because what if someone mistook it for some ahem, other body part? As a result, on later pressings the offensive digit was covered up. CONDITION: Vinyl=VG+, Cover=Fair - Seams broken and taped at bottom. Shows wear. 

 On The Town (1957) – (Score-SLP-4003) Original SCORE label released in 1957. CONDITION: Vinyl=VG+, Cover=VG+-some tearing at seams but color is excellent, bright and clean. GREAT LP IN GREAT CONDITION!
