You will have to pardon my ignorance in the listing of these three records as I don't read the Chinese (or Japanese) script. The first of these does say in English "Recorded In China" and is Victor Record 8165-D. In addition it says "Chinese Cantonese" and "Duet With Accompaniment". This would appear to be sounds recorded in China but pressed by the Victor Talking Machine Company of Camden, NJ. The label style and single sidedness of this record would indicate that it is fairly early. Having said that, it plays through but there is a fair amount of surface hiss to accompany the music. The second of these records would appear to have been pressed in China as it's as "RCA Victor company of China - Shanghai." This Chinese scroll Victor plays loud and strong and there appears to be both instrumental and vocal with a certain amount of talking or announcing in between. The third record is where I really get lost in that it does not say where the record was pressed and since I don't read the writing I could not swear whether the music I am hearing is Japanese or Chinese. Obviously someone bidding on these records with know immediately which it is. In English it reads only "Oriental Music Company " and is record No. 5050-A. This one plays loud and strong but does have a bit of surface hiss. Check out the pictures for any information that you can read that I can't. Thanks for having a look and for your bids.
