Description
I am selling a number of LPs from the collection of my late uncle, who was in the music business, specifically in the jazz area. He played trumpet with many of the greats, including a stint with Tubby Hayes in the fifties, Ronnie Scott and Johnny Dankworth among others. Later in life he moved into record production and produced LPs by artists such as Tubby Hayes, George Melly and Alexis Korner. He also wrote the sleeve notes for Tubby Hayes 100% proof, which I am listing on eBay. My aunt has assured me that all these LPs are what he referred to as his "file copies". He played them once or twice, to record them to reel-to-reel tape. I have inspected all the records I am listing and am using Record Collector grading. Most, if not all records I am listing in this batch are as near to mint as I have seen for records of this age. The records have all been stored out of sunlight, upright.
