Rare 1977 Harvest TEST PRESSING + recording sheet!
New Triumvirat Presents Pompeii
Dies ist die 1977er LP Pompeii der progressiven Krautrock-Band Triumvirat, aus rechtlichen Gründen unter dem Bandnamen "New Triumvirat" veröffentlicht. Genialer, bombastischer Prog-Sound!
Es handelt sich um eine handbeschriftete Harvest Test-Pressung, inklusive Aufnahme-Protokoll!
Aufgenommen wurde die LP in Konrad "Conny" Planck's legendärem Studio in Neunkirchen (--> Wiki!), der auch einige Zeit als Tonmeister agierte, bis Jürgen Fritz (Keyboarder und Frontmann) die Regie komplett übernahm. (Auf dem Recording-Sheet kann man noch Plancks Namen erkennen, der durchkreuzt und durch Fritz ersetzt wurde)
Ob es sich bei dem handschriftlich in rot hinzugefügten Text um Fritz' oder Plancks Handschrift handelt, ist schwer festzustellen, jedenfalls war es die Person, die das Aufnahmeprotokoll ausfüllte. (man vergleiche den handschriftlich in rot hinzugefügten Text mit dem kopierten handschriftlichen Text)
Der Titel The Time of Your Life ist aufgelistet als The Time of Your Life...(?) und Vesuvius 79 A.D. ist nur als Vesuvius angegeben.
Die Platte schlummerte lange Jahre im Archiv des EBS-Studio in Berlin (siehe Sticker auf Innenhülle) und ist jetzt als einzigartiges Krautrock-Unikat zu haben!
LP und Aufnahmeprotokoll sind wie neu, nicht der geringste Kratzer zu sehen, absolut kein Knistern (auch nicht am Anfang), glasklarer Sound.
This is the 1977 LP Pompeii by the prog Krautrock band Triumvirat, released under the band name "New Triumvirat" for legal reasons. Amazing bombastic prog sound!
It is a hand-labelled Harvest test pressing, including the recording sheet!
The LP was recorded in Konrad "Conny" Plank's legendary studio near Cologne (--> Wiki!), who was also the recording engineer for a while, before Jürgen Fritz (keyboarder and frontman) took over the whole production. (Planck's name can still be seen crossed-out on the recording sheet, replaced by Fritz)
Whether the handwritten text that was added in red ink is Fritz' or Planck's handwriting is hard to determine - in any case, it's the person that filled out the recording sheet. (compare the red handwriting to the photocopied handwriting)
The song The Time of Your Life is listed as The Time of Your Life...(?) and Vesuvius 79 A.D. is listed only as Vesuvius.
The LP was sleeping long years in the vaults of EBS-Studio in Berlin (see the archive sticker on the inner sleeve) and is now for sale as a true one-on-a-kind Krautrock artifact!
LP and recording sheet are like new, not the faintest mark on the vinyl, no crackle at any time (even during lead-in), glass clear sound. Side 1:
