TITLE: Trippin' With Cal Green
CONDITION:
Sleeve: Strong VG++ to almost Mint- / The front cover has a few light scuffs and a couple of tiny light scratches as well as a small spot where the cover slick was not pasted down flatly. The back cover is Mint- w/ just a small spot where the cover slick was not pasted down flatly. The seams and spine are intact. The spine has 2 3/4" of light wear at the very bottom. Has a tiny spot of light wear on the bottom seam at the right corner. Also has a hole punch.
Record: Looks beautiful. Retains high original gloss w/ some light surface scuffs. I play graded this entire LP. Side A plays almost Mint- w/ just a little very light random background surface noise on the last track. Side B plays almost Mint- w/ just a touch of very light random background surface noise. Great sound presence! / By the spindle hole it looks like this LP may have been played a couple of times. / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Very niice copy of this killer1969 small label West Coast Mod Jazz Rare Groove Funk Classic. This copy has a silver & black label as compared to my copy which is a yellow label. They both have the same stamper : MJ-001-A RE- b/w MJ-001-B RE-
This fantastic LP features the great guitar of Cal Green backed by Charles Kinard (sic) Kynard - organ & piano, Billy Moore - drums & percussion, Tracy Wright - Fender bass.
