Description

I have been an avid collector of vinyl for 30+ years. Now the time has come for me to depart with some items from my beloved collection in order to downsize.  Please see my other items if this interests you.

We have here a UK pressing of the first LP by the seminal British progressive funk rock group Trapeze. This copy is actually signed by original Trapeze member and Deep Purple vox/bassist Glenn Hughes.

This one hardly ever comes up for auction but is a highly sought after psychedelic Prog Rock classic, a true lost gem of an album. The line up of this album became the foundations of hard rock legendary bands such as, Whitesnake, Deep Purple and Judas Priest. Check out very rare footage of this line up on YouTube 'Send me no more letters'!

The Record: EX ...I have test played this from start to finish. There are a few light surface marks but nothing serious....just a little light crackle here and there. Label has a little spindle wear when turned to the light but this has seen very little turntable time.

Labels are otherwise clean and free from writing / marks

Inner Sleeve is plain white

Outer sleeve is front laminated, matt at the back  - grades as an EX, just a few hairline creases here and there.

Spine still nicely readable though has a few light creases

NO splits

NO Writing

NO Ringwear

Beautiful original copy - buy with confidence

Tracks are as follows:

Side 1:

It's only a dream

The giant's dead hoorah

Over

Nancy Gray

Fairytale

Verily verily

Fairytale

Side 2:

It's my life

Am I

Suicide

Wings

Another Day

Send me no more letters

It's only a dream

NOTE - I use The Record Collector grading system and will not list anything below a Very Good - for reference this is as follows:

Record Collector's Grading System
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
