Description
Reasonably good copy of Traffic’s extraordinary debut album from 1967, although the record is much better than the notoriously flimsy cover! Matrices are A/B2 which I assume is a first pressing as it is on the pink ‘eye’ Island label.
Gatefold sleeve Good+ (possibly VG- in parts) The outside is laminated and is rather creased at the corners. The spine has split in places but has been carefully repaired. There is also a seam split at the side of the rear. The inside of the gatefold is generally OK, with old tape marks visible.
Labels – Ex- Moderate spindlewear, but certainly not played to death!
Inner sleeve – New polylined bag (the original is missing)
Record – VG Light hairlines and surface marks, with a tiny 5mm scratch on Side 1 Track 2. This causes a few clicks. Generally the audio is pretty good and grades as VG/VG+.
I grade all records strictly using the 'Record Collector' guide.
