Townes Van Zandt Delta Momma Blues 1971 Poppy Vinyl - Beautiful Copy.
A holy grail -- I'm an avid Townes collector, and putting this one up for sale hurts. I've had it for a couple years now, and I just think it's time for another owner to be able to cherish it. Townes is my favorite artist, as I've collected his work on Poppy, Tomato, and Fat Possum pressings -- The Poppy albums are just in a league of their own. As life has gone on, I just don't have the time to listen to this one as it should be -- I will settle with a repress of this great album.
Anyways -- The cover isn't in NM shape, but it's solid. There are no seam splits, despite some wear occuring on all sides, which I tried to picture the best I could. There is also some corner wear, also pictured. This one also has the promo stamp in the back-upper left corner of the cover.
The vinyl itself is beautiful. I won't call it NM, but it sure is close (I am not any sort of expert grader). It has a beautiful shine to it, with some minimal markings that cannot be felt, and can only be seen in the direct light. It plays beautifully on my system. The original inner sleeve is also included (the red Poppy sleeve) -- but the album has been stored in a Sleeve City Ultimate Audiophile inner sleeve.
