Mega Rare LP of Toshiko Mariano Quartet (Candid 8012 - mono) Original issue labels with deep groove on both sides - NOT a current re-issue. Rare session for pianist Toshiko Akiyoshi when she was married ot alto saxophonist Charlie Mariano is an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG+ condition with marks that will make some noise - not for the audiophile, but certainly not trashed either - still, you will hear some noise on this one. (a name is written on the labels also) The cover is in VG+ condition with general age/shelf wear and paper loss on the spine (though the spine is not split). NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore?
