Torben Hertz' Soul Sextet 'EP' (CSA CEP104) - late 60s
Superb and totally unknown modern jazz EP from Denmark.
I have never seen this before!
3 great soulful cuts that are among the best I have ever heard. Esp Le Roi
features some very superb playing.
If you are a fan of Cartsen Meinart, better get hip to this one.
Cover: Generic, die cut
Record:Visually EX, a few light signs of handling - very close to NM. The record does have a pressing related blemish
on the B-side (Mjølners Beat) and the pressing is in general a bit noisey (typical for CSA pressings which tend to be fragile)
Grading
I grade very conservatively and use Goldmine-standards.
NM/EX(VG++)/VG+/VG/VG-/G
NM is my top grade - as good as it gets for a second hand record i.e. does not have wear. Records are playgraded
on a Luxman PD310 w. Fidelity Reseach FR64 tone arm and Denon DL103 cartridge.
I do not use EX+/EX- and you will find that my VG+ is often what other sellers would describe as EX.
A thorough description of flaws will be listed for all records.
