Description
This record has been opened and played once. It's in excellent condition (could be near mint but I grade one step lower to ensure an accurate description.) The only problem is they packed it with the 7" record in tight shrink wrap so the sleeve and group pic have indentions. Good news is the vinyl didn't warp! See the last pic for a close up of the bend. It's not severe but it is there. No scratches or anything on the vinyl and its nice and shiny. The bonus single is un-played but opened. This is the 2005 very limited edition by Motley records and Hip-O-Select. They go for a lot sealed but here's your chance to get a perfect copy that can be heard...which is the point right? Both the outer sleeve and the single sleeve have gold limited edition stamps, and they even mis-labeled the word "leather" on the label of the single.
The cool thing about this edition is it allows you to hear what the first Leathur pressing sounded like, plus it's in the original track order. (This has the clapping and cheering during Live Wire, Merry-Go-Round and On with the Show are VERY different than the Elektra releases, Too Fast for Love has the alternate opening, and Stick to Your Guns is included - the whole album sounds more like a demo than a finished album) Personally I like this edition way better than the Elektra releases. I have two copies of this so I'm getting rid of one.
If you get the chance I highly recommend seeing Motley on their final tour. I've seen them several times but this was by far the best show they've ever put together!
