Description

Tony Williams (with Herbie Hancock, Sam Rivers, Bobby Hutcherson, Gary Peacock, Richard Davis) LIFE TIME. Blue Note 4180, recorded 1964.  Deep Groove, “Blue Note Records Inc. New York USA” printed on label.  Ear in Wax. Jacket shows 43 West 61st Street label.  Inner sleeve is “27 Years of Blue Note” Disc plays NM-: wear, not damage..  Jacket has beginnings of some soft corners due to erosion. A very quiet record, as you know.  While this is not a perfect copy, it’s very very good.

Here’s the ninth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
