This is a sale for the following 7 inch 45 rpm single record:

Comments: Mega rare garage rock classic from Michigan. Tonto & The Renegades were a well known band in the mid 1960's throughout Mid Michigan. This is their first release on Fenton Records(Sparta Michigan) from 1966. Fenton record's Dave Kalmbach gave the bands a choice of a custom label for their records. That is why you see many Fenton records with the bands name or some variation as their record label. Tonto & the Renegades chose the "Sound of the Sceen" as their label. Their name was also misprinted on the label as "Renigades". There is much to read across the net on the Renegades and on the Fenton label. Fenton has become the holy grail label among garage rock collectors. The record for sale here is in VG condition. Side A (Little Boy Blue) has some moderate sleeve swiping throughout. There is one longish scratch that can be felt by the fingernail. Side B (I Knew This Thing Would Happen) has one longish/thick scarf mark and lots of sleeve swiping as well. Both sides visually grade VG. Playback however is actually quite surprising as the background noise is quite low. There are no skips or loud pops/clicks. Again, all background noise is just that...in the background and the record is a very nice listen. The label on side A has some rub wear, but otherwise in nice condition. Side B however has lots of writing and a sticker. Please zoom in on photos for full detail. Any questions feel free to ask.

I use the Goldmine record grading system, which is detailed below. If you would like more info about a particular title, please ask. I check Ebay often and will try to get back to you promptly.
M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and unplayed.
NM (NEAR MINT) - Record looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Record may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. Also may have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at discount.
VG (VERY GOOD) - Record has light wear, scratches or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, or small seam splits.
G (GOOD) - Record has moderate, ever wear throughout, but still playable. Surface noise and scratches. A cover or sleeve will has large seam splits. especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the cover.
P (POOR) - Lowest Grade. Audible scratches, etc. on more than half the tracks. Listening uncomfortable. The sleeve is water damages, split on all three seams or heavily marred by wear and writing.
