Description

Up for bid is a rare mono LP, the self titled LP by The Tommy Flanagan Trio. See pictures for song list. This was released by Prestige/Moodsville No. 9 (MVLP No. 9) in 1957. The interior labels are green with silver lettering, with a deep groove on either side. The matrix info includes RVG stamped on either side. LP is VG+, with scuffs and several small light scratches on either side. LP plays with some surface noise (crackle, tics, and pops) with no skips. LP is very clean and retains a nice gloss. Interior labels are very clean. The address on the interior labels and back of the jacket reads 203 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J. Includes original interior paper sleeve with the Bergenfield address printed at the bottom of one of the sides (see pictures). Jacket is VG+, with no seam splits. There is wear on all corners. There are light indentations on the spine of the jacket. There is writing in light pencil in the back top left corner (see pictures). The front coloring is still bright, and the front and back retain a nice gloss. An original mono press of this LP is difficult to find in any condition. Don't miss this rare gem!
