Description
Here is an amazing recording from 1957...Original record, not an import. An interesting provenance as a one owner record from a jazz aficionado. This was one of many jazz recordings purchased in the 50's and the collection was left to a church. The owner kept "reviews" on the back of the sleeves as to indicate his liking or appreciation of the selections. (Elvin Jones too loud??) I think not!! I personally love this about the record, that someone actually listened to it, commented on it, and kept it in a very playable shape. I hate to let the original go, as it provides warmth from the sound and it's presence in my home. A true masterpiece recording that must be heard regularly. It will be missed. The Ultimate record within any Jazz vinyl collection.
