Tom Waits "Nighthawks At The Diner"
This is an original US vinyl pressing on Elektra 7E-2008 from 1975. This is a white label promo copy. I was pressed in very limited numbers to help promote this record. This was his 4th album and his first double album. It's all live and was recorded in Hollywood on July 30th and 31st, 1975. It's a must have for anyone that loves Tom Waits.
Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ / Record is M
The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint. When playing this on the turntable there is a very slight and very small edge warp, that is visable. But it does not effect the play at all. So, it really does play mint. There are no scuffs of marks of any kind on the vinyl. The cover is VG+ with no writing and no seam splits. There is light ring wear most noticeable on the back. The top left corner is bumped and there is small sticker stain at top right. The labels are perfect with no spindle marks. The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.
The songs are : Opening intro, Emotional Weather Report, On A Foggy Day, Eggs And Sausage, intro, Better Off Without A Wife, Nighthawks Postcard, intro, Warm Beer And Cold Woman, intro, Putnam County, Spare Parts, Nobody, Big Joe And Phantom 309, Spare Parts 2, and closing.
I have been buying and selling records for more than 25 years. I sell records at all Northwest record conventions and at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.
I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. One sheet is 3/4 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard. The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboad. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) It will weigh 26 ounces ( 1 pound, 10 ounces ) when ready to ship. You can figure out your own postage costs for US priority or Media Mail. Overseas buyers must use First Class Mail International. ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. ) I will remove the record from the cover when I mail it. I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM.) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. And I will let you know when I receive your payment and when I have mailed your record. This record is from a no smoking and no pets home.
