Original 1982 UK vinyl LP release of Words From the Front by Tom Verlaine, issued on Virgin Records (catalogue number OVED 87). Best known as the frontman of Television, Verlaine delivers a moody, atmospheric post-punk record filled with poetic lyrics and jangling guitar textures. The vinyl is in excellent (EX) condition, with a deep gloss and only the faintest signs of handling—plays through beautifully with no skips or notable surface noise. The sleeve is also excellent (EX), featuring clean edges, sharp corners, and strong spine text, with only minimal shelf wear and no tears, writing, or major creasing. A cult favourite among fans of alternative rock, post-punk, and art rock. This is a top collector’s copy of a lesser-seen Verlaine solo LP.
