Description
Tina Turner ~ Private Dancer 1984 Vinyl LP ST-12330 US Winchester First Pressing. Rare Import and a superb copy of a superb album. All my vinyl is played right through to sound test and on two systems. Honestly not quite sure how sellers or buyers can rely on visual inspection alone! Please read right through, compare prices and grab yourself a bargain here.
No reasonable offer refused if you want to persuade me to end the auction early, get them quickly and avoid bidding escalation. Click Make Offer with confidence: see our 💯 positive feedback over years of trading on Ebay. Yes, you read that right!
Condition? See close up photos which are deliberately zoomed in to show warts and all. As we don't accept returns unless it is damaged in transit or substantially not as described, I will point out any flaws in the photos or description. We want you to be confident in bidding and happy with what you receive.
Record: a few light surface marks and faint hairline scratches visible under day/very bright light but great shine and deep grooves, crystal clear matrix numbers and - more importantly- plays without any without jumps or stutters, skips, repetitive crackles or distortion throughout. Its in GREAT audible condition. Not warped, no crackles other than in dead air as you put the needle on. Clear as a bell. My previous 100+ buyers tell me I downplay condition too much. Not warped and it doesn't stick or jump. Pretty darn perfect, it's a great copy for collectors of rare matrices, Tina fans and 80s buffs.
Vinyl Matrix:
Side A ST-1-12330-Z5 #2 • –––◁ Precision
Side ST-2-1230-Z5 #3 • –––◁ Precision
I make no apology for all the photos of the matrix, as this is what identifies this rare pressing!
Labels: Intact, no tears or scribbles, virtually no spindle wear as shown.
Outer sleeve: Good bright colour throughout, almost no corner & spine bump/wear as shown, no stickers, scribbles or inscriptions. No creases worthy of a mention.
Inner sleeve: Original ... ditto above on condition.
Please ask any questions and I will happily send more photos (only allowed 12). Please judge for yourself as one person's 'good' is another's 'excellent' ... it's subjective... and we err on the side of UNDER exaggeration! We don't describe a record as Near Mint unless WE'VE opened it from sealed and played it once. We use the UK Record Collector Magazine Grading System https://recordcollectormag.com/advertise/listings-help and - I tell you now - I'm NOT going to get into quibbling arguments over whether it's Good or G+ (that's American anyway), particularly with dealers who want to buy it cheap and sell it on for a vastly inflated cost. Can you tell I've had some experience of this?!
We're paranoid packers. We use bespoke record boxes, bubble wrap etc and reinforcers too. Basically we pack it to withstand even the most heartless delivery person. See our 100% positive feedback over 20 years of trading. Some of our packaging, for which we don't charge, is ♻️ recycled and we will NOT accept returns because "outside packaging smelled odd" or was creased (it has happened, believe me!) These are vintage, pre-loved items which have come down from a loft.
Please scroll down to see Seller's Other Items as we're always finding and listing lovely pre-loved items. Everything is priced realistically to sell with not a reserve price in sight. Lots of vinyl, tech and games, books, toys, photographic equipment, collectables, china and glass: interesting vintage stuff. Of course I will combine postage if you are the winning bidder on more than one.
Thanks for reading this lengthy tome. Happy Bidding 😊
