Extremely rare & unique copy of this Japanese 1st pressing of Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'.
Upon its release in Japan, this appears to have been given as a gift to a "Miss Kitoh' who was likely a record executive in Japan.
The entire piece is housed in a custom made one of a kind clear thick plastic envelope as shown in the photos. It was designed to mimic aspects of the actual album cover and lines up with the LP when it is inserted into the envelope.
All posters and lyric sheets are included as shown.
Jacket: Near Mint. Tiny bump in lower right corner.
OBI: Mint. No tears or markings.
Vinyl: Pristine NM
Inner: Original clear inner included. (Note: record will be shipped in a Mobile Fidelity inner sleeve.)
Playback: 9.5/10 Audio is phenomenal. No skips or pops. Most tracks transition with no surface noise at all. A complete joy!
You will not find this iteration of 'Thriller' anywhere.
